A special Isla Mujeres vacation home......"Adios" means both hello and goodbye in Spanish, and "oso" is "bear", thus the name
Villa Adioso, for the friendly stone bear that greets you as you enter the gate to the
courtyard at the front of this special place, and says goodbye when you leave. The large
gurgling fountain in this garden patio is a pleasant backdrop for enjoying a morning cup
of coffee.
As you enter the main lower level of the house, your gaze is irrestistibly drawn through
the living area to the stunning and expansive ocean view before you. Step through the
large double sliding glass doors onto the spacious oceanfront terrace, where you can
sunbathe, enjoy refreshments, watch the wave action, and play and /or relax in the plunge
pool that awaits you there. Steps from the terrace lead down to the beach of sand and
rocks, a beachcomber's delight. Back inside the house, a bedroom with queen bed is
located off of the living area, and there is a bathroom/dressingroom just beyond the
bedroom.
The fully equipped kitchen is also open to the dining/living area so the cook can
participate in conversation with family or guests. Everything for cooking and eating is
provided.
The upper level, accessed via a stairway just outside the main house entrance, consists of
a private master bedroom with ensuite bathroom/dressingroom, entered through sliding
glass doors . The terrace surrounding three sides of the master suite provides an
unrivaled location for catching both the spectacular sunrise on the Caribe side and the
always mellow and sometimes very dramatic sunset over the Bay of Mujeres on the other
side.
The two bedrooms accommodate up to four persons, and the total capacity can
be increased when necessary by the use of blow-up mattresses.
The house can also be rented with just one bedroom, on the lower level, for guests who don't require two bedrooms. All space is still available for use except for the upper bedroom suite.
A large and beautiful palapa on the rooftop is the perfect place to relax in the hammocks provided. The panoramic view of the island from the palapa area is breathtaking. This space is also great for yoga!
Villa Adioso provides a feeling of privacy and intimacy in the midst of the many
dwellings located along this narrow, Caribe strip, and yet is close to town for
convenience, an easy walk into town. Welcome to your own private paradise!

| To confirm a reservation, a deposit of one-half of the total rental fee must be received
within two weeks of making reservation. Balance is due on arrival, and keys will not be
given to guests unless the payment is ready at that time, no exceptions, regardless of
reason(payment in full before arrival is another option).
If cancellation is necessary, a full refund of deposit will be given if intent to cancel is
received at least 60 days prior to arrival; one half of the deposit will be refunded between
60-30 days prior, and if less than 30 days, no refund will be given, regardless of reason.
We recommend that guests purchase trip insurance, readily available on-line, to
safeguard against loss of any kind, whether illness, weather or other unforseen
eventualities that might prevent you from honoring your reservation.
One change in reservation dates may be done with no charge; additional changes will be
assessed a fee of $25 each.
