Isla Mujeres accommodations with a new twist.....A "place with character", you say? Here is a new listing that fits the bill- "The Soggy Peso" -don't ask me, ask your hosts how they came up with the quirky name!
A short, walkable distance from town, this unusual property has three very comfortable tropical-themed rooms, facing a great pool complete with lounge chairs, and with a view of a marina area on the Bay side of the island. A rustic palapa-covered bar, with tall bar stools and tables, shares the view and offers you an on-site place to enjoy libations alone or in company. Bar opens about noon daily and ceviche is available. Hot wings are featured on Wednesdays with Texas-style BBQ baby back ribs cooked up on Sundays.
The rooms have king beds, cable TV, fridge and coffeemaker, A/C, and full bathroom. All of this and an affordable rate too.
Come solo, come with friends, come with family, but come and join the fun at the Soggy Peso!
This establishment is non-smoking and not appropriate for children or teens. No pets, please.

Cancellation and Refund Policy |
| 50% deposit is required to hold a room.The balance will be paid in US dollars (or the equivalent pesos) upon arrival in undamaged and untorn bills. Full prepayment is required if 30 days or less before arrival.
If you must cancel for any reason, you will receive 80% refund with 60 days notice, 50% refund with 30 days notice, and no refund if less than 30 days notice. There is one exception to this rule: There will be no refund given for reservations held for the holidays (Dec. 20 - Jan.5).
For your peace of mind we recommend that you purchase trip cancellation insurance
