Bienvenidos! Welcome to beautiful Isla Mujeres!! Welcome to our home, Paraiso Sur (Paradise South). Whether you want to just kick back and enjoy the private heart shaped pool, go zipping over the water at Garrafon Zipline Park, or just relax with a cocktail in the rooftop jacuzzi to watch one of the most beautiful sunsets, you can do it here. Paraiso Sur is located in Isla Mujeres, MX, just a short 20 minute boat ride from Cancun, and a 5 minute drive from the port.
We have a full kitchen, in case you don't want to eat out every night in one of Isla's delicious restaurants. We've tried pretty much all of them, and have not found a bad one in the bunch. Seso Loco's is a particular favorite. Getting around is no problem, as the red taxis come by often, and the fare to town is only about 60 pesos. Or rent a golf cart in town for exploring the island at your leisure. There are so many things to do and see here, you'll never get bored and most likely won't want to leave. Trust me, because that's what happened to us! The Dolphin Discovery is on Sac Bajo, along with the turtle farm and Rolandis. Pueblitos is 1 block away with a wide variety of food, from hamburgers (oh they are GOOD!), to pizza & guacamole and of course, cerveza. Garrafon Zipline Park and Punta Sur are just a short walk from the house. At Punta Sur you can have your meal overlooking the Caribbean Sea, check out the sculpture garden, or climb the lighthouse stairs for awesome views of the island. Take a ride to Hidalgo Street for restaurants, shopping and nightlife. Don't forget to see the Conch shell house! We have 3 bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. TV's with dvd players in all bedrooms & living room. Did I mention the beaches? If you get tired of lounging by the pool, just steps away is Garrafon de Castillo, where for about $5.00 US you can swim or snorkel the coral reef that runs all the way to the park, or get a beach chair & a snack. Playa Lancheros is a great beach and lunch spot. Playa Norte (Naughtibeach) is at the north end of the island with warm, calm, clear and beautiful turquoise water.
Update: Our beautiful new palapa, with barbecue, patio, covered lounge area next to the pool area is now complete and ready for you to enjoy!

Families welcome but spiral staircase may make this property unsuitable for small children. Aside from families minimum age for renters is 25(no spring breakers). $400 refundable security deposit required. Monthly and long-term rates available on request. Maid service available, $20 per cleaning. |
| To confirm a reservation, a deposit of one-half of the total rental fee must be received
within two weeks of making reservation. Balance is due on arrival, and keys will not be
given to guests unless the payment is ready at that time, no exceptions, regardless of
reason(payment in full before arrival is another option).
If cancellation is necessary, a full refund of deposit will be given if intent to cancel is
received at least 60 days prior to arrival; one half of the deposit will be refunded between
60-30 days prior, and if less than 30 days, no refund will be given, regardless of reason.
We recommend that guests purchase trip insurance, readily available on-line, to
safeguard against loss of any kind, whether illness, weather or other unforseen
eventualities that might prevent you from honoring your reservation.
One change in reservation dates may be done with no charge; additional changes will be
assessed a fee of $25 each.
