Lost Oasis is pleased to add this beautiful new Isla Mujeres vacation home to our roster. Customed designed by the owner to combine the best features of island living with the comfort and luxury to which you are accustomed, El Castillo Maya has inncorporated not just one, but two palapa areas for your relaxation and enjoyment. One, on the second level adjoining the private entrance to the Master Suite, is equipped with a hammock...take a siesta lulled by ocean breezes. Up another level, the large rooftop terrace, shaded partially by a palapa, features a colorful bar with a blue glass-block base topped with turquiose blue glass crystal. There is also a "pequeno piscina"....a personal-sized pool for cooling off..and loungers to catch the rays and enjoy the gorgeous view. All this and even a half bath for your convenience! What an incredible place to meet with family and friends to enjoy refreshments and conversation at your own home!
The care taken to give this house special touches is evident. Island-themed tile and stone handiwork is seen throughout on the floors of the palapas and in and around the house. Carved rails adorning the exterior staircases and the interior stairs and carved handrails are fashioned of salam, a hardwood noted for its durability and dark burnished beauty. Glass blocks are strategically placed in walls to admit light, and in the master suite to showcase a collection of seachells. Local art is displayed on the walls and throughout the house.
The house was designed for maximum versatility. The ground-level ocean-front two bedroom unit has a large living room opening onto the pool deck and ocean beyond through sliding glass doors. A fully equipped kichen and dining room are adjacent. The beautiful staircase leads up to the second floor Master Suite, which can be rented separately by locking the door at the top of the staircase and entering through a private exterior entry, or used as the master bedroom of a three bedroom house. The Master Suite has a king bed, a jacuzzi tub with ocean view, a kitchenette area, with sink, fridge and coffeemaker,and a washer/dryer, which is shared by the two bedroom unit, and has lock-off doors to maintain privacy.
There is also a separate luxury studio, with kichen, bathroom with tub/shower, queen bed, couch and a separate washer/dryer. For a large family or a group, this can be a private and complete fourth bedroom, or can be rented separately.
The entire place is attractively and comfortably furnished to make your stay even more enjoyable.
El Castillo Maya sits side-by-side with Casa Azul del Caribe, another new house with three bedrooms, plus a small sleeping space off of the master bedroom for kids. Owned separately,they share a lovely patio and swimming pool with swim up bar. They can be combined to sleep 16-20 people, making this a perfect place to host a family reunion or a wedding. The entire complex is nicely landscaped and has plenty of off-street parking for golf-carts and other vehicles. What a great place to enjoy your inland vacation!

For reservation of one week or more, a deposit of $500 is required. This deposit will be refunded on or after departure provided that there has been no damage to the premises beyond normal wear and tear. |
| To confirm a reservation, a deposit of one-half of the total rental fee must be received
within two weeks of making reservation. Balance is due on arrival, and keys will not be
given to guests unless the payment is ready at that time, no exceptions, regardless of
reason(payment in full before arrival is another option).
If cancellation is necessary, a full refund of deposit will be given if intent to cancel is
received at least 60 days prior to arrival; one half of the deposit will be refunded between
60-30 days prior, and if less than 30 days, no refund will be given, regardless of reason.
We recommend that guests purchase trip insurance, readily available on-line, to
safeguard against loss of any kind, whether illness, weather or other unforseen
eventualities that might prevent you from honoring your reservation.
One change in reservation dates may be done with no charge; additional changes will be
assessed a fee of $25 each. |
