If oceanview is paramount to your vacation pleasure, this spectacular vacation house on Isla Mujeres may be just what you are looking for. Designed to capture a panoramic ocean vista from as much of the interior as possible, Cristal, with its bank of curved tall blue(!) windows succeeds remarkably. In fact, this house, which is striking from the outside, is even more of a knock-out when you enter it. Every aspect of the interior design invites closer inspection, from the expansive living room (whose view is surpassed only by that of the master suite above), the circular dining alcove, also surrounded by windows to capture the impressive view, to the detail in the high ceilings, to the modern kitchen with cooking island, making for ideal entertaining.
A guest suite opens off of the lower level living area, with a queen bed, ensuite bathroom, and washer/dryer. Climbing the interior spiral staircase to the landing above you will find the doorway to the very private master retreat, comprising the entire second floor, and as promised, offering another, even more dramatic, panoramic ocean view through the large curved window. Imagine awakening in the California King bed to this sight! The suite has a sitting area in front of the windows, and a balcony just outside. The circular nook above the lower dining area makes a great place to enjoy your morning coffee without even leaving your retreat! A small refrigerator and coffee station are located in a hidden service area. An intercom between the master retreat and the kitchen is an added bonus.
"His" and "Hers" bathrooms complete the Master retreat, hers with a canopied jacuzzi, long vanity with sink, his with a stone shower, separate dressing area, and a spacious walk-in closet between the two.
Further up the spiral staircase to the rooftop, again you experience the breathtaking view of much of the island and usually get a taste of the extraordinary( and sometimes very strong) caribbean breezes. A convenient restroom is also on the roof.
Cristal is furnished in accordance with the quality of the house.. expect to feel both comfortable and luxurious here.
Located on the Caribbean side of the island, just at the edge of the popular Colonia La Gloria, Cristal is an oasis for casual, gracious living while enjoying the island hospitality which brings people back year after year.
Maximum occupancy: 8 Two bedrooms, one with California King bed, the other with queen bed (two self-inflating queen sized mattresses with extra linen can be used for additional guests) 2 1/2 baths. Not appropriate for small children

| To confirm a reservation, a deposit of one-half of the total rental fee must be received
within two weeks of making reservation. Balance is due on arrival, and keys will not be
given to guests unless the payment is ready at that time, no exceptions, regardless of
reason(payment in full before arrival is another option).
If cancellation is necessary, a full refund of deposit will be given if intent to cancel is
received at least 60 days prior to arrival; one half of the deposit will be refunded between
60-30 days prior, and if less than 30 days, no refund will be given, regardless of reason.
We recommend that guests purchase trip insurance, readily available on-line, to
safeguard against loss of any kind, whether illness, weather or other unforseen
eventualities that might prevent you from honoring your reservation.
One change in reservation dates may be done with no charge; additional changes will be
assessed a fee of $25 each.
