This is Isla Mujeres and you are vacationing at the beautiful Castillo de Candelabra, a luxurious 5 bedroom retreat situated near the southern tip of the island.
The main house features a second level master suite and adjoining walk-out balcony with spectacular vistas of the Caribbean Sea. The king-size bed guarantees the comfort of a good night’s sleep, there’s plenty of closet space and the large master bath features a walk-in shower and beautiful double brass sinks.
Two additional bedrooms are included on the second level and are joined by a large bath, sizeable Jacuzzi tub and shower and double brass sinks. Well-appointed linens grace the queen-size beds. The front bedroom opens to a small railed balcony and the beautiful panorama of the Caribbean Sea. The back bedroom features a garden view and distant vistas of the sea and Cancun.
Along with the three bedrooms, the second level has a small office area, large sofa, flat-screen television equipped with DVD player, and another opportunity for you to soak up the sun on the adjacent balcony seating area.
The main level of the home has a lovely dining area, fully equipped kitchen including microwave, blender, toaster, gas stove, oven, coffee grinder, pots and pans and dishes to accommodate ten guests. A sunken living room overlooks the pool, manicured landscaping and splendor of the Caribbean Sea!
Folding wooden doors adjacent to the main living area open to an additional living space and big screen television equipped with DVD player. Opening out to the pool and also to a large outdoor area for eating you will find this relaxing spot a great place to curl up with a book or enjoy one of the many movie channels by satellite.
The fourth bedroom/bathroom area of the home is equipped with a kitchenette including lovely brass sink, full-size refrigerator, microwave, blender, hot plate, dishes, pots, pans and more. This bedroom boasts a lovely view of the garden and fountain making it a very quiet and private area of the home. Comfortable queen-size bed, great closet space and tasteful lines make this corner of the home your own little sanctuary.
The rooftop Palapa with wet bar, grill, dining table and chairs,and plush cushioned seating, creates a setting for evening dining as you cozy up and watch the sun dip down behind the silvery waters of the Caribbean.
In addition to the main house, there is a separate guest house with a fully-equipped mini-kitchen, full bath, queen-size bed, beautiful linens, and great outdoor dining under a palapa and the backdrop of the corner water fall, rock pool and adjacent garden. A perfect get-a-way from the main home, the guest home overlooks the pool with additional views of the garden and fountain areas.
Central to your outdoor relaxation and enjoyment is the artistically tiled infinity-edge salt water pool complete with sea-turtle motif and separate shallow area for sunbathing. Umbrellas and plush lounge chairs invite you to linger pool-side, settling-in to the tranquility of island life. Or maybe you just need a private retreat and want to cozy-up on the grand Roman bed, sitting adjacent to the pool.
