Casa Mimosa is one of the finest and largest homes on Isla Mujeres and offers an abundance of amenities for your vacation rental. It is also a very comfortable and attractive home, used frequently by its owners and therefore with a much more lived-in and cozy feeling to it than the average vacation home. Located on the Sac Bajo peninsula facing the Bay of Mujeres, this three-story dwelling with five-bedrooms and six bathrooms sits above its own beautiful sandy beach.
The lower floor has a living area with TV/VCR, wet bar with mini fridge, and two bedrooms with queen and single beds, each with its own bathroom.
The second, main floor has a fully equipped kitchen with all appliances, including a dishwasher; a living room with satellite TV and DVD; a bedroom with queen and single beds, and a bathroom with washer and dryer. The sliding glass doors open onto a sheltered terrace with a large hand-crafted dining table.
On the third floor is the master bedroom, with king bed, large bathroom with double sinks and shower heads and another bedroom with queen and single bed and its own bathroom with tub.
Yet another floor up, there is a palapa with a spectacular panoramic view of the island. All rooms have ocean views.
Outside, the property is fully landscaped, and the path from the street leads to the ocean side of the house, where there is a large palapa-covered patio, with a stainless grill, griddle and two burners, plus a full refrigerator and freezer, and another large handmade table. A natural fountain trickles into a swimming pool overlooking the white sandy beach and flows over the edge into another small pool below. A Jacuzzi is adjacent to the pool. On the beach, there is a shower to rinse off the salt-water, and another bathroom. In addition to the five plus beds in the bedrooms described above, there are hammock hooks throughout, and blow-up queen beds provided for additional sleeping space if needed. The house is fully air-conditioned and also has ceiling fans.
There are several nice restaurants in this area, including the gourmet restaurant at Villa Rolandi and Zama Beach Club. The Turtle Farm is within walking distance. Dolphin Discovery is also found in this part of the island.
This property lends itself beautifully as the venue for a wedding or a wedding reception. There are venue fees charged in addition to the rates given. A refundable damage deposit is required for this house

| To confirm a reservation, a deposit of one-half of the total rental fee must be received
within two weeks of making reservation. Balance is due on arrival, and keys will not be
given to guests unless the payment is ready at that time, no exceptions, regardless of
reason(payment in full before arrival is another option).
If cancellation is necessary, a full refund of deposit will be given if intent to cancel is
received at least 60 days prior to arrival; one half of the deposit will be refunded between
60-30 days prior, and if less than 30 days, no refund will be given, regardless of reason.
We recommend that guests purchase trip insurance, readily available on-line, to
safeguard against loss of any kind, whether illness, weather or other unforseen
eventualities that might prevent you from honoring your reservation.
One change in reservation dates may be done with no charge; additional changes will be
assessed a fee of $25 each.
